Privacy Policy
- Your listening history stays on your device only; your personalization profile stays on your device and in your own iCloud (backup).
- Only anonymous usage statistics are sent to improve the app — never your name, email, or an advertising identifier.
- Ads are shown, but no advertising identifier (IDFA) is collected and you are not tracked across other apps or websites.
- There is no sign-up and no login, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
- Deleting the app removes the history and profile stored on your device.
This policy explains how Aura (the “app”) handles your information. All sound personalization happens on your device, and there is no sign-up or login.

There is no account and no login, so we never receive your name, email address, or phone number.
2Information sent outside the app
We do not sell your information and do not share it for marketing. Your usage history and personalization profile never leave your device. Weather is fetched by sending only a location rounded to about 1 km to WeatherAPI.com, and profile backup is handled by Apple in your own iCloud.
International transfer — the information below is transferred outside your country. Statistics and install pings contain nothing that identifies you personally. Feedback is sent only when you choose to send it, and what you type is relayed as written.

3Retention and deletion
Usage history and your profile are kept on your device (and in your iCloud backup). Deleting the app removes the usage history and personalization profile stored on your device. Because the personalization profile is also backed up to your own iCloud, a profile left on another device using the same iCloud account may sync back. To delete everything, please delete the app on each device.
4Your rights
Your usage history and personalization profile live only on your device and are not kept by us, so deleting the app destroys all of it at any time. Usage statistics do not identify individuals, so they cannot be looked up or deleted for a specific person.
If you would like feedback you sent deleted, tell us roughly when you sent it and what it said at wogus3602@gmail.com and we will delete it without delay.
5Tracking and ads
We show Google AdMob ads to keep the app running. No advertising identifier (IDFA) is collected and you are not tracked across other apps or websites (which is why no App Tracking Transparency prompt appears — the app is not subject to it). Where consent is required (Europe and similar), information gathered inside the app is used to choose ads only if you consent to personalized ads on the consent screen; if you decline, you get non-personalized ads only. Elsewhere, information gathered inside the app may be used to choose ads. In every case, nothing you do outside this app is used.
Ads appear at the end of the Sounds list and the bottom of the Stats screen (banners), after you answer the rating that follows a session (full-screen), and when you open the app or return to it after a long time (at least 4 hours apart). Full-screen and app-open ads are capped at 3 per day. Separately, you may choose to watch a rewarded ad to turn off full-screen and app-open ads for 6 hours (stacking up to 12 hours; banners still appear). Everything in the app works exactly the same if you never watch one, and sound playback is always free with no time limit. There are no banners on the playback screen, and full-screen ads are never shown while sound is playing (if you open Sounds or Stats, the banner on that screen may still be visible during playback). Google's privacy policy applies to AdMob's processing.
6Processors
We entrust the following processing so the service can run. Our agreements require that personal information be handled securely.

7Security measures
- Collect as little as possible — there is no account or login, so we never receive a name, email, or phone number to begin with. Location is rounded to about 1 km before being sent and is not stored, and the microphone only computes a loudness level while the audio itself is discarded immediately.
- Kept on the device — usage history and the personalization profile are not sent to any server; they stay on your device (and in your own iCloud).
- Encrypted in transit — all outbound communication is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS).
- Access control — feedback we receive is read in a channel only the developer can access.

9Children's information
The app is not directed primarily at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10Not a medical device
Aura is a wellness sound service and is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease, and effects on focus, sleep, and the like vary from person to person.
